What stays on your device

Your field notebook, sightings, practice progress, and streaks are stored only on your iPhone. Nothing leaves the device unless you deliberately use the AI field coach.

AI field coach

When you ask the AI field coach a question, only your typed question and the relevant species name are sent to a private, secure AI service to generate an answer. No audio, no notes, and no personal data are sent, and your questions are never used to train AI. No vendor or model name is exposed.

Purchases

Apple handles all payment details when you buy a paid tier through the App Store. We receive only the purchase state needed to unlock your tier. Restore Purchases is supported for the Lifetime unlock and subscriptions.

What we don't collect

No ad SDKs, no third-party trackers, no advertising identifiers, and we never sell personal data. No account is required to use the app.
